The Alpine Kitchener neighbourhood is a small, centrally located community consisting primarily of smaller semi-detached, detached and apartment style homes that offer the perfect blend of convenience and comfort.
The central location makes it perfect for those who value being able to get around the city easily as well as for commuters who want quick convenient access to the highway.
Families will appreciate the variety of nearby schools in the area as well as convenient access to the excellent McLennan Park and other various amenities.

Things to do
Located just outside the neighbourhood is McLennan Park where you'll find a variety of things to do. Including a large and accessible play structure, a splashpad, basketball court, volleyball court, skatepark, leash-free dog park, toboggan hill, and several picnic tables. The park is easily accessible by walking paths connected to the Alpine neighbourhood and also by car with plenty of parking, making it a convenient place to spend a sunny afternoon.
If you're in the mood for some indoor activities, you might consider a visit to the Activia Sportsplex. This modern arena is home to two ice rinks and a free walking track, and it offers a variety of public skating and pickup hockey games. The Sportsplex is also home to a well reviewed boxing training facility.
Baseball fans will appreciate the nearby Peter Hallman Ball Yard. This modern three-diamond baseball facility has hosted various tournaments, including the International Softball Congress in recent years.

The area is near several convenient grocery options including a Zehrs, a NoFrills, and a Food Basics. A short drive away there is also a Farm Boy and a Walmart as well as a FreshCo. Other smaller grocers nearby include Om India Food Centre and The Indian Supermarket.

There is the Country Hills Library which is one of the largest community libraries in the area. It features a large community meeting room, a children's program area, a special teen area and an open-concept computer centre. It also includes many creative and digital maker tools including a circuit maker, music station and workstations equipped with Adobe Creative Suite.
Gym 41 is a fantastic gym offering personal training from fitness experts and a variety of classes and programs as well as 24/7 access.
