Hidden Valley is a beautiful and highly sought-after upscale neighborhood with larger detached homes and properties. It is tucked away on a quiet residential street loop while still remaining close to a variety of amenities including close access to the highway. From its scenic location along the Grand River to its wide range of dining and recreational options, the Hidden Valley Kitchener neighbourhood is a great place to call home.
One of the best things about Hidden Valley is its location. Nestled along the Grand River, residents have easy access to a variety of outdoor activities and scenic views.
Things to do
The Deer Ridge Golf Club is a nearby award-winning golf course that has been ranked in the Top 100 in Canada by SCOREGolf. In addition it is also known for its vibrant and friendly culture, as well as excellent food options.
For those who love the outdoors, Hidden Valley is also close to Chicopee ski resort. This long-running, year-round resort offers skiing and snowboarding in the winter, as well as mountain-bike trails and disc golf in the summer.
For more leisurely activities, the nearby Homer Watson Park is a great spot for walks and is also a perfect spot to take your furry friend for a stroll. The Homer Watson Park Trail is well known for its spectacular colours in the fall. There is also the nearby River Birch Park for casual walks.
The Hidden Valley neighbourhood is located near the CF Fairview Park mall, meaning residents have quick and easy access to a variety of shops, restaurants and entertainment including a nearby Cineplex and variety of restaurants.

Restaurants
When it comes to dining options, the Hidden Valley neighbourhood has some great options nearby. The Charcoal Steak House is a popular choice for those looking for a high-end dining experience. This upscale venue offers a wide selection of steak dishes, including ribeye and prime rib, as well as seafood and pasta options.
For Italian fare, I highly recommend Ennios Pasta House which is a trattoria with a long history, offering pizza, excellent specialty pastas, and traditional Italian entrees. Del's Italian Kitchen is another great choice nearby serving elevated Italian dishes, including hearth-baked pizzas, as well as cocktails and wine by the ounce.
Some more casual but popular options among residents in the area include Chick-fil-A, North Shawarma, Santosei Ramen and many many more. The nearby Fairway road is home to several dine in and take out options.
Groceries
Hidden Valley is close to a variety of grocery options including a nearby Farm Boy, Walmart, and Food Basics. With a quick 10 minute drive on the highway residents will have access to a Costco and Dutchies Fresh Food Market and more. Heading the other direction there is a Zehrs as well as an M&M food market.
Amenities
The area is close to a variety of well reviewed fitness centers and personal trainers including The Sweat Box, Kitchener Fit Body Boot Camp and Gym 41. Residents will also have quick access to commercial fitness facilities including a nearby Goodlife fitness.
