Westmount is one of the most desired neighborhoods in Kitchener due to its proximity to uptown Waterloo & Downtown Kitchener Core.

Things to do

Westmounts location enables quick access to a variety of things to do being less than a 5 minute drive from Uptown Waterloo and less than a 10 minute drive from Downtown Kitchener.

Towards the end of Summer the nearby Belmont Village shuts down the street for 2 days for a music, art, and dance "Bestival". Belmont Village offers a variety of unique boutique storefronts and cafes perfect for weekend strolls.

Westmount is also iconic due to the highly regarded Westmount Golf & Country Club that encompasses the west side. Westmount Golf & Country Club sports an iconic history dating back as far as 1929 when it began construction. It offers a variety of activities including gold, tennis, curling as well as other amenities.

Restaurants

Westmount neighborhood is nearby a variety of iconic Kitchener restaurants including the Graffiti Market - a rustic industrial style market serving pizza, pasta, beer and more. Local favourites include the iconic Big Johns Submarines thats been around since the early 1970s, KW African Cuisine, and MJ's Gourmet Pizza.

The nearby Belmont Village has a variety of fares from the Italian Casa Rugantino, French Elixir Bistro, Thai Bistro, and the popular Janet Lynn's Bistro serving upscale casual Canadian eatery. On top of that you have easy access to all the offerings in Uptown Waterloo and even Downtown Kitchener.

Groceries

Within a 5-10 minute drive you will have access to both a Zehrs and a Food Basics. About a 10 minute drive to the west is a Costco, and on the way several other food markets such as Dutchies and Goodness Me! Natural Food market. There are several pharmacies in the area including a Rexall, Shoppers Drugmart, and Belmont Park Pharmacy.

Westmounts location means you access so several great amenities including beloved Green room barbershop which was voted Kitchener-Waterloo's top rate barbershop two years in a row. Nearby is the highly rated Midtown Yoga offering Bikram yoga, Hot Pilates and more with both in person and virtual class options. For children theres Funvilla Kitchener which has a fantastic indoor playground sporting indoor trampolines, wall climbing, ninja course, arcade and a soft play option for children under 4.
